A Michigan City man has been found guilty of murder and robbery.
Nathan Cureton was convicted after a jury deliberated for several hours
The 22 year old Cureton was not the shooter but was held responsible because
it occurred during a robbery he planned.
Police say the victim of the robbery.....Tyler Abbott....is the one who pulled the
trigger.....killing Nathanial Havis in the 200 block of E. 6th street.
Cureton was supposed to sell 14 hundred dollars in marijuana to Abbott but it was
Havis who showed up.
Havis put a gun to the head of Abbott...who in self defense killed Havis....who was supposed
to give half the money to Cureton.
