Counterfeit money was used at two fast food restaurants in Michigan City last night.
At Rally's....police say a drive thru clerk noticed right away the money was
fake.
After telling the driver....police say the driver reached in and snatched his food
then took off.
A few hours before that...police say a counterfeit $20 was used at the McDonalds
on Franklin St. near Barker Road.
That bill was accepted for the food...but later it was noticed to be a fake.
The suspects were male and female who appeared to be in their late teens or
early 20's.
