Digital warning signs will be going up at Michigan City's lakefront.
The signs will warn people about dangerous conditions on the lake.
This comes after a man recently died from being swept off the lighthouse
pier.
According to the mayor's office....a $50,000 grant is being used to help offset
the expense.
Digital signs come after cameras and floatation devices were installed
over the past couple of years to improve lakefront safety.
According to the mayor's office....six digital signs will go up at the
entrance to the pier and lifeguard tower.
