A bleeding man failed in his bid to outrun police.
32 year old Jack Clemons allegedly busted out the windows of a vehicle
in Michigan City a few days before Christmas.
Police say a sheriff's deputy spotted his vehicle on Johnson Road...and got behind it.
Clemons allegedly pulled over and fled on foot into a woods.
Police say the deputy gave chase and when Clemons fell made the apprehension.
The South Bend man was bleeding from one of his arms....apparently from breaking the windows.....and
was also intoxicated.
